Representatives of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media participated in the 12th Annual Meeting of the Black Sea Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (BRAF) held in Albania from 16 to 18 September, the main topic of which were hate speech and freedom of information in audiovisual media and on online platforms.

Staff of the Supreme Council for Radio and Television of the Republic of Turkiye (RTUK) and the Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan (ACRA) paid a five-day study visit to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM). The visit, which took place in Belgrade from 23 to 27 June, was organised with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experiences and strengthening cooperation in the field of regulation and monitoring of the work of media service providers.

Staff of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media participated in the workshop Standards of the European Court of Human Rights on Hate Speech and Harmful Content, held in Vrdnik from 27-29 May and organised by the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade.

Representatives of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media attended the celebration of 30th anniversary of the establishment of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities at its 61st meeting held in Moldova on 14-16 May.

Representatives of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media participated in the two-day Empowered Media for a Conscious Society Summit, organised by the Radio and Television Supreme Council of Turkiye.
