Public competitions for appointing members of management boards of public service broadcasters

The Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media appoints and dismisses the members of the management boards of public service broadcasters.

The Council announces a public competition for appointing members of the management board six months prior the expiry of the management board members’ term of office, in accordance with the criteria prescribed by the Law on Public Service Broadcasters.

The public competition for appointing members of the management boards of public service broadcasters is published on the website, in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia and in a daily newspaper distributed across the territory of the Republic.

Nominations are submitted in person or by mail within 15 days from the publishing of the public competition in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

Nominations of candidates for members of the management board contain: name and last name, date and year of birth, qualification level and profession, address and contact phone of the candidate and the address and contact phone of the person who nominated him or her.

The curriculum vitae of the candidate with a cover letter, the written consent of the candidate to the candidacy and the candidate’s statement that there are no obstacles referred to in Article 17 of the Law on Public Service Broadcasters are submitted along with the nomination.
