Meeting of REM representatives with representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission

The President of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM), Stevica Smederevac, Council member Prof. Dr. Dubravka Valić Nedeljković, and Council member Milan Petković met with Eoghan Murphy, Head of the Mission, and Egor Tilpunov, Media Analyst of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission on 28 September 2026.

The meeting focused on the work of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, its statutory responsibilities and role in monitoring the media environment during the electoral process, as well as the existing secondary legislation governing the conduct of media service providers during this period.

During the discussion, information relevant to the work of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission and the Regulatory Authority was exchanged, alongside matters concerning media coverage of elections.
