Participation of the Media Literacy Team at the Digital Education 2025 Conference
Representatives of the Regulator’s Media Literacy Team played a prominent role in the international online conference Digital Education 2025, organised by the EdTech Center for the Western Balkans on 24th and 25th October 2025.
The event brought together experts from the field of education and technology to exchange knowledge, good practice examples and experiences related to the application of digital solutions in education.
During the second day of the conference, our team presented the results so far in the field of media literacy that we implement in order to raise awareness among preschool children, as well as to promote their critical thinking.
The following was in focus: publications we developed to support preschool teachers, parents and preschool children entering the digital and media world; research we conducted in cooperation with the Council of Europe; concrete multiannual activities that are part of the strategic work of the institution to build competences for understanding, evaluation and responsible use of media content.
By participating in the conference, we further strengthened our cooperation with the education sector, we exchanged experiences and established guidelines for future initiatives that will contribute to the development of a media literate and digitally empowered generation.
On this occasion, we would like to express our gratitude to the organisers from the EdTech Center and all the participants of the conference, as well as to confirm our commitment to further development of media literacy in the preschool and education system as a whole.
