The RBA Council adopted at its today's session the decisions on the issuance of 63 radio and TV programme broadcasting licenses for regions and local areas, including the City of Belgrade.

In the following period the Republic Broadcasting Agency intends to adopt additional regulations in the area of cable broadcasting and advertising, in line with its legal competences. We are thus inviting all broadcasters, cable distributors, journalist organisations, professional associations and all other interested parties to send their suggestions pointing to the main problems and their solutions that specifically need to be regulated in the bylaws.
In the following period the Council members will be conducting public hearings with the applicants to the Public Tender for the issuance of licenses for the regional and City of Belgrade level.
At its regular meeting, the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency considered today the report of the Supervisory Measurement Centre of the Republic Telecommunications Agency on the basis of which it adopted a decision on the prohibition of programme broadcasting and a decision on the initiation of offence proceedings against 35 radio stations and 4 TV stations broadcasting programme without a license issued by the Agency.
